Janie Palmer Tipton joined Tate Insurance Group on February 16, 2026, as a Personal Lines New Business Assistant in the Deane Hill office in Knoxville. Janie brings enthusiasm, a strong work ethic, and a genuine passion for helping others protect what matters most to them. Licensed in Property, Casualty, and Life insurance, Janie is committed to providing clients with a friendly, helpful experience and assisting them with their insurance needs. She enjoys learning the industry and values the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of clients and their families. A lifelong Knoxville resident, Janie appreciates the close-knit community she calls home. Her favorite part about working at Tate Insurance Group is the staff and the clients. Outside of work, Janie enjoys spending time outdoors, gardening, and making memories with her family. She and her husband, Greg, have two children, Aiden and Lily, and a beloved blonde Labrador Retriever named Tucker. Aiden attends Tusculum University, where he plays baseball and golf, while Lily is an upcoming senior at Bearden High School. When it's time to relax, Janie's favorite getaway destination is the beach. Whether she's helping clients navigate insurance options or cheering on her children at their activities, Janie brings warmth, dedication, and a positive attitude to everything she does.
