Tracy joined Tate Insurance Group: October 2017 With more than two decades of experience in the insurance industry, Tracy Lynn Rose brings both expertise and heart to her role as Personal Lines Manager at Tate Insurance Group. Before joining TIG in 2017, Tracy spent 15 years specializing in commercial insurance with local independent agencies throughout the Knoxville area. She has spent the last eight years focused on personal insurance, helping clients build comprehensive, tailored protection plans that fit their individual needs. A proud graduate of the University of Tennessee–Knoxville, Tracy holds a B.S. in Human Ecology with a minor in Business Management. She has also maintained her Property and Casualty license since 2003. Tracy is passionate about educating others in an often misunderstood field—using real-life examples to help clients truly understand their coverage and why it matters. She’s known for her dedication to finding the best combination of price and protection to safeguard her clients’ assets. Tracy’s favorite part of working at Tate Insurance Group is the people—both her coworkers and the community. She values the agency’s family atmosphere, strong leadership, and commitment to remaining a locally owned independent agency that prioritizes relationships over numbers. Originally from Miami, Florida, Tracy attended Gulliver Preparatory School, where she shared the halls with notable classmates including George P. Bush, Enrique Iglesias, Julio Iglesias Jr., and Craig Gottlieb of Pawn Stars fame. Outside of work, Tracy is an avid sports fan—especially NCAA football, baseball, softball, and basketball—and a devoted supporter of the University of Tennessee. She loves exploring antique shops across the Southeast, attending concerts, and spending time with her grandchildren. Family is at the heart of everything Tracy does. The oldest of three children and ten grandchildren, she is a proud wife, mother of four, and “Gigi” to five granddaughters and one grandson. Known as the one who can always get things done, she’s lovingly called the “glue” that holds her family together. When clients work with Tracy, they can expect honest, straightforward guidance and an “under-promise and outperform” approach. She lives by the lessons of her father, Coach Chuck Field: “I will take confidence and commitment over talent anytime.” and by a quote from one of her favorite coaches, Nick Saban: “Mediocre people don’t like high achievers and high achievers don’t like mediocre people.”
